its nothing personal

I'm feeling tempted to write this entry because I'm afraid that as time goes by, my memory will fade a little. This entry is dedicated to a friend whom I met when I was in States.

So I was in States with my parents and this lady joined us for the city tour. Her name's Sora and she's a Japanese. Now, I not a Japanese fanatic or anything like that. So we started talking to her in English and later learns that she knows Chinese as well because she stayed in China for 8 months and I must say, speaks better chinese than me. So she's pretty much versatile in her languages. English, chinese, Japanese...

We went to Las Vegas together and got cheated by our tour guild to watch this strip show and I remember her whispering to me saying she doesn't see any difference between the most expensive seats and the cheaper once because the hall's not very big. On the last day of Las Vegas, my parents went their own way and the both of us pretty much explored the various hotels together and yeah, we got lost. It was hilarious come to think of it now because the tour guild was damn shitty and he won't wait for late comers. So we panicked like hell but managed to find out way back,just in time. Phew.

We also went to the magnificent Grand Canyon together and we were so impressed with it. But she didn't like the squirrel which I loved. I helped her snap a few pictures but she didn't like her camera so she used her cell phone instead.

3 days later, we parted our own ways at the factory outlet. I remember her saying she doesn't like Coach mainly because she's a huge fan of LV. She headed for China town and I went to San Francisco for the night. Only on the 2nd day did I visit Chinatown.

So I'm hoping Sora would come visit Singapore soon, there's starbucks for her here haha. I wish my friend well.
