its nothing personal

I have been really sick for the past 2 days. High fever, cough, runny nose, body ache etc. Felt like I was going to die. Went to see a doctor on Sunday. He wanted to give me MC for Monday. But I acted heroine and rejected it because it was my first day of attachment so cannot afford to take leave.

As a result, I was damn sick at work. No mood at all. My supervisor is like kinda quiet. Its in fact, another woman called Diamond who is giving us all the useless tasks to do. What a name..

So when I went home, my fever got worse. I think the highest it went was 39.1 degrees. I felt hot and cold at the same time.

So I called my brother, knowing that I needed immediate consultation from a doctor. So about an hour later, at about 1140pm, My brother and his gf came to pick me up. sweet! Went to the 24 hrs clinic. Then they say need to wait about 30 mins. So my brother drove us to eat supper at a nearby coffeeshop. I had porridge =)

Ya then we were talking happily. haha. Felt warmth. Then he later drove us back to the clinic. The doctor was like aiyo.. your condition quite bad. Inflammation in throat, high fever, very bad flu.. So he gave me 2 days MC. He suspected dengue. OMG. So if I don't improve, got to go back to him. Crossing my fingers and toes. geeesh.

Stupid medical bill came up to $76. Brother paid for it. =) hahha.. Sunday's bill was $39. So the grand total spent was $115. Sigh. Doctors sure earn a lot. And my parents are overseas. oh wells.

I think I'm very loved. Seriously. My aunt is like really concerned for me and she invited me for dinner over at her house later. Brother asked me this morning if I was okay. Yeah and he left a jar of water in my room last night together with all the medicine =) Friends around me smsed me to ask if I was fine and ask me to take care. Thank you all. Now I know who my true friends are.

I got my head checked at 4:36 PM .
